Make A Difference Today

The Iowa State Troopers Association was established in 1951 to promote fellowship, strengthen morale, and support the general welfare of Iowa State Troopers and their families. Renamed the Iowa State Troopers Association in 1972, ISTA has continued that mission for more than seven decades.

Today, the Association provides member assistance, scholarships, emergency support, retirement and survivor recognition, legislative advocacy, and community programs such as the Trooper Teddy Bear Program.

At its core, ISTA is built on a simple principle: Troopers standing behind Troopers—and together, serving Iowa.
